YFU South Africa has programme activities in the Cape Town region, Paarl-Winelands, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, Durban and Tzaneen (Limpopo Province). Volunteers, with the help of regional interns in some instances, manage regional activities, such as student recruitment, host family recruitment, school visits and supporting YFU exchange students from abroad and their host families. Each regional YFU team is headed by a regional coordinator who works closely with the national office in Cape Town.
