The Junior Volunteers ("returnees" or alumni") of YFU South Africa have formed their own representative body to manage and organize programme activities such as YFU orientations and allocating junior contact persons to the international exchange students in South Africa. Each YFU region has a representative on the Junior Volunteer Council (JVC), which is headed jointly by Astrid Lippert and Feziwe Pato. Former YFU SA exchange students are encouraged to join the JVC and become part of the fun. The JVC acts independently, and is another way in which YFU SA promotes leadership skills and continued involvement of our returnees.
