YFU
GERMANY OFFERS THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS:
1. 1 year high school exchange: Departure January 2009 or July / August 2009
2. Six months exchange program: Departure January 2009 or July / August 2009
3. 6-week summer program: From end of June 2009 - mid-August 2009
On both the 1-year and 6-month programs, exchange students will be placed with a hostfamily and attend the
local high school. Apart from the standard program activities, there is also an exciting 7-day mid-term orientation
week for the students in one of the following famous German cities: Berlin, Hamburg, Munich or Dresden! YFU
Germany is well known for its excellent and professional student support, something that forms an integral part
of YFU's basic standards. The 6-week program (or Summer program) takes place in the European summer, and
students on this program will arrive in and depart from Berlin. They will also live with volunteer hostfamilies.
